Beautiful and unique property with fabulous canyon and downtown pasadena views. That was enough to make us give this place a five star review. But TJ, the host, took it to the next level - he was incredibly generous and personable - if we could, we’d give him a 10 star review. We are already planning a second visit.

TJ the host is absolutely one of the best people for this job. He treats you like family. This place is extremely organized and clean. One of my favorite places to stay in Los Angeles area.

The Patrician was the highlight of our three week trip. Great location, views, comfort, breakfast. Everything was excellent. But best of all was the owner, TJ. He made our visit memorable. Great Stories. Great service. I highly recommend considering this place when you visit Pasadena.

Wish we could give more than only a 10 Star rating! What a gem of a place overall. The premises were beyond our expectations: beautifully appointed historic home set on an idyllic point above an 180 degree view from the San Gabriel Mountains to the skyscrapers of DTLA. It was a sanctuary retreat where we spent 2 nights chillaxing and more. TJ was the consummate host who pre anticipated all of our desires and was Uber friendly and welcoming. Don’t tell your friends as we want to always have an available room to return to soon!

Amazing location!! The view of LA and the beautiful landscaping and historic house are really special. TJ is a very friendly host full of stories that he’s ready to share and is also a great listener. He also has good suggestions for things to do if you are new to LA. The Zen Garden room was very cozy, comfortable and unique. The bathroom was absolutely spotless with a lovely pine tree view while showering.

Beautiful house and setting. TJ was the most gracious host. He made our stay feel like going home to family. Fantastic stay - would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It’s apparent TJ really enjoys being the host.

It sits on top a hill with a great view. Outdoor space was easy to use. Property was roomy and well cared for.

TJ was an amazing host and the service was impeccable. The scenery of the property was relaxing and spectacular. The room was perfect for a short weekend getaway, and I highly recommend this intimate property to get away from the busy noise of the city. Serene, historic, luxury place for a great price.

TJ is an amazing host -- friendly, solicitous, respectful and a great conversationalist who doesn't impose on you. The location has beautiful views, high over the LA basin yet a fast and easy drive down to all the attractions of Pasadena. The house is both beautiful and interesting.
