Skool Plus Vung Tau

Good pool with nice view

We stayed at Skool Plus Vung Tau twice, booking on two different platforms (first via Agoda, second via Booking.com), and encountered the same issues both times, which raises serious concerns about transparency and guest treatment. 1. Breakfast “included” but repeatedly denied On both stays, we booked rooms clearly marked as including breakfast. Despite this, hotel staff repeatedly denied that breakfast was included and insisted that we pay 300,000 VND per person to access breakfast. • First stay: We had just arrived after a long drive and did not want to argue. Although our booking confirmation showed breakfast included, we were pressured to pay and eventually did so. • Second stay: The same situation happened again. Staff insisted we had no breakfast included and even claimed they could not find our booking information, which was very strange as the booking was fully confirmed and prepaid. After around 30 minutes of insisting and showing proof, they finally acknowledged that breakfast was indeed included. This happened twice, across two different booking platforms, which makes it difficult to see this as a simple mistake. 2. Unclear and unreasonable charge for bathroom item In the bathroom, there was a small bag placed on the disposable amenities tray (next to toothbrushes, a disposable comb, etc.). As these items are typically single-use, we discarded the bag. At checkout, we were informed that this tiny bag supposedly cost 50,000 VND and that we were not allowed to throw it away. • There was no sign, no label, and no explanation indicating that this item was not disposable. • It was placed together with clearly single-use amenities. • Charging a high price for such an item without prior notice is not reasonable or transparent. Conclusion The hotel itself may look fine, but the repeated denial of included services and unexpected charges create a feeling of dishonesty and poor management practices.

Vi bokade och fick ett rum mot vattnet med balkong, härligt att stå på balkongen och spana in havet och alla fartyg som passerar. Schysst pool på taket, där man gärna hänger vid solnedgången.

På andra sidan vägen, vid vattnet, var det någon form av bar/kareoke som förde lite liv, men inte så att det höll på sent.

Everything: quick check in before the check in time, comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, the rooftop swimming pool, breakfast.
