Phinneywood Hideaway - Zoo meets Lake

Great location for our plans. Missed having any Wi-Fi for the first 24 hrs.

We really enjoyed our stay at Phinneywood Basement Hideaway. We slept very well. The property was easy to access and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking at home, and had plenty of bathroom accessories (towels & toilet paper). It was well lit at night and best of all, it was very affordable for our six-day stay. We hope to be back!

It was hard to find where the actual entrance was based on the pictures. The stairs are actually around the other side. Once inside the property was fine, but we kept finding SO many spiders. Both dead and alive and some still smeared on the walls from previously being squished. Overall the stay was fine, the upstairs neighbors were kind of loud as well at some points.

The owner tried to charge an extra amount of 140$. I had to go back and forth multiple times until he admitted that the amount was incorrect. The description on how to get into the house was incorrect and caused confusion on how to get in. The picture pointing to the left side of the house, though you need to get in on the backside of the house. After we left the owner charges us another 15$ for a "stained towel". We left the house in an excellent condition. No need for that kind of headache on a vacation. Just book something else.

Great location and plenty of room!

We had 4 adults in our party and stayed for two nights.Easy access to downtown Seattle without getting on the interstate. Our stay was safe and comfortable. Appreciate the easy off street parking.Getting in and out of the basement unit was easy with the keypad code. We would stay here again.

awesome two room bottom floor, comfy beds! very clean and organized. you have primary parking at the house just in case you don’t feel comfortable parking in the street. everything is short driving distance.
