Qualche problema con l'acqua per fare la doccia e qualche zanzara, ma nel contesto più che piacevole il soggiorno

Friendly host. Nice location at walking distance from the center.

Overall, sleeping room and bathroom was def not out favorite one.

Within walking distance to the centre of Merida. The pool was nice to cool off after a hot day. Filtered water bottle and kettle in communal kitchen. Good air conditioning. Comfortable bed and bedding.

Upon arrival, we were asked what time we were leaving as the owner had other guests coming. We were told the house rules and shown the one shelf (in the owner’s fridge), which was to be shared with the guests of the other four rooms. This was a bit of a squeeze and I was surprised that nobody’s things fell out when you took something out from the one shelf. Or booking was for 3 nights and our room was called Magnolia. We had visited the Uxmal ruins and wanted to shower upon entry to the apartment as we were hot and dusty. A few drops of water came out of the hot tap. We messaged the owner. For two out of three nights we had no hot water. The owner asked if I didn’t like cold water and I replied ‘no.’ A plumber came in the third day and then the water was cut off for several hours so we could not flush the toilet. We were told that there was calcification in the bends in the pipes. The building is old so this was not a new problem. On our last night, we were able to get hot water to create a thin stream by removing the shower head. We had paid the total cost on arrival and the owners simply thanked us for our patience and apologised. We thought they may have returned at least one nights accommodation as a gesture but nothing was offered. We feel that all things should be checked/tested before accepting guests. We are easy going Australians but this was rough.

Our hosts Ananda and Jose were welcoming and were a pleasure. Access to kitchen, a small wading pool and the friendly dogs mad it feel like a family home, without intruding. Responsive, friendly hosts who provided lots of helpful information.

Water pressure for the showers was low and you had to managie the hot water use before it ran out but overall this was not a big deal and certainly adequate.

Lovely place at 15 minutes walking from city center. Nice swimming pool and garden to relax. Overall a pleasant stay.

The bathroom door got stuck, but we managed to open it in the end.

The hotel was very pretty and it had a well equipped kitchen that everyone can use. The swimming was a plus. The staff were really helpful
