As a fourth generation hospitality expert with over 30 years experience, I could not fault Hotel Eden Wellness. On arrival at the train station, I was collected by the hotel's driver, and was swiftly driven the short distance. The owner, Tamara welcomed me on my arrival with great enthusiasm and a smile. She and her staff were all extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The facilities were all excellent, and very importantly always clean, especially the spa area. Whenever I came across any member of staff, they would always greet me, and ask how my day was going, or if I needed anything. My room was very nice, with modern facilities, and the most amazing view of the Matterhorn. Every evening there would be a turndown service, and towels etc were tidied up. Nice touch. Breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot and cold buffet service. The ski room was very well situated in the basement with direct access to the street. The ski lockers and entrance from the street were locked/unlocked with your room key for convenience, which was very handy. My ski boots were dry every morning, because who likes soggy boots? The location was very good too, with the town centre being a 10 minute walk. The bus servicing the ski lifts was also very near. One of my main reasons for booking was the spa, where I spent at least an hour every evening relaxing after a long day skiing. The pool, water jet massage points, jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms were all excellent. There is also a small gym which I didn't use. All in all, Swiss hospitality at its finest. If I have to be extremely critical, I would say my room was slightly too warm for my liking. But that was easily rectified by leaving my window slightly open at night. I couldn't fault the hotel for anything.

Room was great, staff exceptional. They gave us a free upgrade to a room with a view. They took excellent care of us during the day or so the town had a power outage. Thanks much, will come again!

Outstanding customer service! We stayed at the Eden during the April 2025 snowstorm when Zermatt was cutoff from the World. Tamara and her team went out of their way to make sure we were fine, were fed, were fully informed and all the time with a smile and patience. Such a dedicated team. Exceptional

J’ai adoré la petite chambre dans laquelle je suis finalement restée 5 nuits au lieu de 3. La vue depuis le balcon est « amaizing », il y a tout le confort mais aussi une am is ce familiale! Merci beacoup

Rien! Je reviendrai pour profiter de la piscine et du Spa! Et cette fois j’espère pouvoir skier!

Wonderful hotel with good facilities and very very helpful staff. The Breakfast was outstanding and the wellness centre ticked all the boxes. The Hotel is well placed for the ski bus and there is a popular pub a few metres away as well as the ski hire shop. Would recommend the hotel, may be a tad warm in summer with no air-conditioning but the room had a balcony so it would be an easy solution to open the window.
