The Ridge

This property was an excellent choice for us. The home is spacious and perfectly situated with the most stunning views of Mennai Strait. Everything about this property was comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike

The property was clean and provided all the mod cons we needed. Spacious and has stunning views of the Menai Straights. Beds really comfy. Lovely balconies. Close to near by towns (by car). Lovely open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area.

Parking is an issue as you literally have to park on a pavement on a busy road. So this may not be the place if you have young children. The property is a little tired in places. Needs a little tlc. We visited during a heatwave and a key to the main lounge and kitchen patio doors were not provided. We really needed to open this to circulate some air.

Couldn’t find the spare key to the front door. Double bed in the first bedroom was a bit hard and lumpy (sorry!)

The views were absolutely stunning. I don’t think the photos online do it justice. We couldn’t get enough of it. The property is also very spacious, lots of room to move around. The two main bedrooms also had stunning views and were very spacious. Hosts were great, very informative and on hand if we had a question.

Parking and getting out of the car with small children is a little tricky because of the narrow path and a busy road right next to the property, but having the garage key was perfect so we could park in the garage and get the kids out safely.
