Showers and toilets dirty Fridge dirty

This hostel reminded me of backpacking before hostels became super sanitized and corporate. Relaxed friendly vibes all day. Plenty of showers and toilets as well, so you never have to wait, which is a huge plus in a hostel. Owner and volunteers were very friendly and gave great recommendations of what to do in the area.

Lots of mosquitos, but that’s just how it is in Palomino. All of the beds have netting over them, so at least sleeping is not an issue.

The host was so increadibly nice !! Super helpful and the atmosphere was really chill :)) the rooms were also very nice !

There where a lot of mosquitoes in Palomino and eventhough there was a mosquito net, it was broken in quite some parts so they could still enter… so I would recommend repairing/changing them 🌟 other than that it was great !

palomino is a very basic ,there is one main dirt road with shops and restaurants that goes down to playa so its pretty quite, a nice place with a hippy kinda vibe,lots of green,lots birds,great beach,really nice peaceful place to chill out

there's mosquitoes so bring bug spray,i hate them and they love me,lol

Nice relaxing vibe to the place and very friendly owner/staff. It’s a short walk to the bus stop for catching the bus back to Santa Marta. About a 15/20min walk to the beach. Supermarket nearby.

Kitchen was a little messy and the fridge was very dirty and doesn’t work very well, whether that’s because it was overpacked or lack of power.
