beautiful room, quiet even though there was noise outside, safe and convenient location. Excellent breakfast. Take the prepay option when booking! Way more economical that menu price.

Somewhat average hotel. More cons than pros. Pros * Spacious room * Good water pressure * Water gets hot very fast * Placement of shower toiletries good * Hall carpet good for rolling suitcases (if you travel a lot you know what this means) Cons * Average customer service (definitely no guest service and there is a difference between the two) * Housekeeping is NOT provided daily yet they only leave one day’s worth of towels and coffee * TINY and poorly designed bathroom * Can’t close the bathroom door unless you stand in the shower * Housekeeping staff does not speak basic English as it relates to their department * When we finally received housekeeping, still didn’t replenish coffee station fully and it took over 30 minutes on the morning our departure to get requested items * Tremendous amount of wasted space in the room. Foyer was at least 7’x4’ and a separate alcove of the same size for a small chest of drawers. * AC gets cold then hot then muggy then cold repeat.

Front desk staff not engaging or attentive. 2/3 having non- work discussion while waiting to check in. Room not cleaned for 2 night stay. Window stuck open with no crank. Maintenance came and got it closed.

Excellent hotel. We stayed on the 4th floor and the room was a little warm but the staff was amazing and very accommodating! Will definitely stay again

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which is in a location that I had to study Google Maps to find. It seems quite new and they did not appear to have as many other guests as I would have anticipated given how appealing the property is. I had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant (where there were few other diners), including an excellent gumbo with lots of crawfish tails (I LOVE crawfish dating back to when I lived in New Orleans.) The entree was an equally excellent and tasty redfish dish. I imagine their desserts are great as well, but I am on a restricted sugar diet and had to pass on those. I also had a sit-down breakfast in that same restaurant the next day, not the buffet serve-yourself style that many hotels offer for those eager to eat and run. For starters, I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with fruit to which I added some blueberries that I had brought with me. I also had scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to a good cup of coffee. I had a very pleasant stay (one night on my way to New Orleans) and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for temporary accommodations in the Spartanburg area. I would certainly stay here again. The only downside of this hotel is the relatively obscure location, but some may consider that a plus.
