Hyatt Place Sioux Falls South

The hotel and breakfast are excellent. It is one of the newer hotels in Sioux Falls. We had small children and it would have helped to have a small microwave in the room. The hotel has an excellent location and it's easy to get around. Lake Lorraine is a wonderful area.

Booked with points on the app. Arrived late on a Friday night. Front desk person seemed tired of people at this late hour. We are Hyatt members and were not offered a complimentary water. We only learned about the water as we checked out. I guess we were eligible for two waters a day. Our room was immaculate and very clean. Sitting area made the room seem very large. Bed was super comfortable. I slept like a rock. Complimentary breakfast was above average in my opinion. Eggs were fluffy and bacon perfectly cooked. Lots of choices and breakfast room overlooks the nearby lake. Only issues was the very poor water pressure in the shower. Took about 2 minutes for hot water to reach 4th. Bath towels were no longer fluffy. Hand towels were fluffy just bath towels that were not. I wish there was a magnifying mirror but that’s my marker for a really good hotel. Probably not fair, but that’s my benchmark. Bed was super comfortable. I slept until 9 AM the first morning. I never do that! I will definitely stay here again. Far more positives than negatives for sure! Hotel is close to so many things in Sioux Falls I think you’ll be quite happy at this lovely Hyatt Place!

I didn’t get much sleep. At 0800 in the morning someone was using a very loud blower to clean the parking lot. I asked the front desk if they could stop the noise but it continued for another hour.

Nice hotel for a great price. All the staff was welcoming and helpful. Spacious clean comfortable room. Great breakfast with variety of options and good food quality. Parking was easy and well lit. Good location about 15-20 minutes to downtown. So nice that we stayed two separate times on our trip. Both stays were wonderful.
