Lovely place to stay but so difficult to get to it with all major roadworks going on. Shame about the opening hours though.
All of the staff we met were friendly and most helpful.Our room was clean and comfortable. The bar was so well stocked and those drinking there, whether guests or locals were good company
From the minute we arrived we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Every member of staff is attentive and polite. We really loved the decor and our room was perfect for our stay. We ate in on our first night and the food was delicious, great choices to. It's such a great old fashioned pub, which sadly are disappearing so quickly these days. The owner is incredibly proud of her business and so she should be, it's the best public house we've stayed in. Everything from start to finish was exceptional and we'll definitely be back.
Pub with lovely rooms. A real "home from home" feel, left to your own devices for coming and going. Close to town and marina.
Stayed in the master suite for one night. A really big, spacious and comfy room. The bathroom was huge with a free standing deep bath. Great selection of toiletries, and free bottled water was a nice touch, which sadly these days many hotels seem to miss. Would certainly stay again, and in this room specifically.

Absolutely a gem, Landlady and staff fantastic, rooms spotless, bed so comfy, we had the best nights stay, would highly recommend.
Very friendly and comfortable place to stay. We were there for a concert and it was less than 10 minutes walk from the pub. On return we were made very welcome in the pub and had a great night. The room was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
