Green Marmot Capsule Hotel Zürich

It was close to the Center of Zürich

Eventhough it was advertised as a hotel with air conditioning - there was ONLY ONE DEVICE for the 20+ capsules which were in this room. I kid you not, I slept on 40°C.. it was terrible.

Central location. Privacy of pods

Very warm in pods. Cleaners incredibly loud in the morning, ruins sleep

La ubicación es perfecta, es lo único bueno.

Las capsulas no son cerradas apenas tienen una cortina, hay mucho ruido por construcciones cercanas, no hay privacidad. El check in esta limitado a cierto horario, no puedes guardar tus maletas en ningún lado antes. En los baños compartidos solo hay 2 o 3 duchas, se hace muy incomodo cambiarse de ropa, no hay espacios comunes para disfrutar. Es bastante caro para lo que ofrece, solo la ubicación compensa.

the bed was comfy, i liked the shelving & hook spaces inside the capsule, it meant i could keep my backpack inside with me. the “door” to the capsule was simply a curtain but due to the design of the capsules, you still feel pretty secluded once inside. the location is great as you are right in the heart of Zürich with plenty of food places nearby.

i didn’t realise that you could book a bed without a locker included, which i did accidentally, so just double check before you book!!
