This is a great small hotel in a great location in the Gion area. Really clean and friendly helpful staff. Easy walk to transport. The room were huge which was a pleasant surprise for Japan. Would easily fit a family of 4. There are no facilities at the hotel e.g. cafe, restaurant etc but there are so many options within a 5 min walk. Also have a laundry which helps when travelling. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was so spacious by Japan standards, and the tatami floor was such a lovely addition. It was a relaxing stay. The free amenities in the room were also quite generous.

The air was quite humid in our room, and we had trouble dehumidifying the space.
