The room decor was nice, and the microwave, kettle and fridge were appreciated. The linen and towels were clean and good quality and the bed comfortable. The heating was effective and view out of the window of the rear sliding door of the water was pleasant. Having a sofa and table and chairs was also good.

This is out of the hotels control but the passing trucks using their air brakes during the night was loud and disturbed our sleep. Maybe Hotel management could request that Council put some signs on the roadside to advise the trucks to refrain from using their air brakes at night, as this is unnecessary for truck operation. The fridge had a big pool of water in the bottom of it, which I had to mop up, so must have been off before we checked in. It would have been nice to have a privacy blind or similar on the rear door so we could have the block out curtain open, otherwise there was no privacy, so we had it mostly closed which was a shame, as we then couldn't see the view. We had to have the bathroom window open a lot as there was no exhaust fan in that room and other people were smoking cigarettes right outside the window which came inside, not nice. The window ledge needed cleaning. The rear sliding door had an "insect screen" door but the latch was broken.

Location - enjoyed outlook of lake. Room was clean. Staff were friendly.

Surprised it had a microwave, but no bowls or plates. No glasses, only mugs. Metal chairs very uncomfortable in rooms and room very stark. Carpets marked. Office not open at 8.35 for check out, yet meant to open at 8am. Surprised that at a motel so large, that breakfast had to be booked in night before.

Very friendly staff at reception on arrival. Room great size and lake view lovely. Bed comfy , plenty of hot water .

The bed was very uncomfortable/old. When arriving the guy was quite rude, needs a bit better customer service training. You can hear everything going on in each room. Little out dated.

Very good sized room, good location, quiet, good tv, clean. The views out the back The indoor heated pool.

We stayed in room eight. The things I found not good were the bed ( given the cost of the room) the bed was not comfortable, could feel the inner springs when lying down. Perhaps a decent mattress topper could help. The bathroom exhaust fan was the noisiest I have ever encountered. No cutlery or plates in the room but were supplied to the extent we needed them on request. Nothing to wash or dry cups and teaspoons.

The property provided true value of money. I paid foe the budget accommodation during long weekend, but I found the property way better than I was expecting after seeing the rating.
