OYO Hotel Downtown Peoria I-74

I couldn’t stay after seeing the room, I checked out right away

Upon arrival, I was told that my reservation had been canceled even though we had called when we received the text message asking us to confirm the reservation. The room itself was extremely small and unkept. Neighborhood was very scary. Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot doing things they probably shouldn’t be.

Really dirty. Had to clean hair and feces off the toilet. Shower was hairy with wonky fixtures. Very poor maintenance. Most dogs love better that that

It was 0° when I arrived and the heater wasn't strong enough to keep the room warm and comfortable

Believe all the bad reviews for this place. I walked into a room that I booked for a couple of nights, looked around and walked out. It is gross. Dirty is an understatement. I don't know if those sheets have been washed between guests, all I know was that I would not even sit on top of it if someone paid me $1000. The floor is crunchy because it wasn't swept. There's already trash in the bin. The door doesn't lock because it was probably kicked before. It is very very unsafe and insanitary conditions. I don't even want to talk about the bathroom. I hope I will get a refund for the 2 nights that I booked but Even if I don't, I saved myself from pure torture.

Just okay for the price. Noisy AC heater

Although the place was filthy I am truly blessed due to being homeless with nowhere to go the man allowed me to stay another day until I was able to get the money to pay for an additional day and I'm so thankful because he didn't have to most people only care about money but he saw the hurt in my eyes and must have known I was going through something I am so very grateful also doesn't change that they can get better with cleaning

Cheap but not the cleanest. Food is convenient however.
