Grand Lux Inn

Technically, there is no staff on hand, but there is a number to call if there are any issues. There were no issues :-). Everything worked the the kitchen was stocked nicely. If anything, the place might be too quiet, haha. Might want to bring a white noise machine if you don’t like that.

The room was clean but sparsely appointed. It would have been lovely to have a table next to the chair or maybe a dresser to put things on. Everything had to be put on the floor, our bags, my purse, a drink. There was a bedside table but only one. The TV needs to be upgraded. The house was beautiful in the location was perfect for our needs. The house was completely unattended and it felt like a VRBO with other people staying there. It was a first for us but it worked.

Wonderful stay!

The Inn is a converted old house and was awesome. Each common area room was decorated very nice. The bedroom that I stayed in was the Lyon Room and it was perfect. Clean, with a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The Inn had some cereals, intstant oatmeals and frozen breakfast sandwhiches available as well as some k-cup coffee options. Had a table-top Donkey Kong and Ms. Pacman game, but I didn't get a chance to play... Matbe next time! Was really a great stay & highly recommend if you want something different than the same old hotel/motel experiance.

I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at the Grand Lux Inn. Beautifully furnished, super clean. Our room was the Lyon room on the first floor. Room was cozy and comfortable. Nice size bathroom. Large closet to store your bags and other luggage in. We were located next to the kitchen, so you could hear kitchen activities first thing in the morning, but that never bothered us. We were in town for the Jack Daniels BBQ Invitational. The Jack Daniels Distillery is about a 15-20 minute drive. Uncle Nearest Distillery and Walking Horse Celebration about 20-30 minute drive. The hotel is walking distance to the downtown area with a couple nice bars/restaurants. You basically have full access to everything in the house. There is a small patio/sitting area on the back of kitchen. Plenty of parking. Kitchen is stocked with breakfast staples-coffee, cereals, breakfast sandwiches snacks, milk, coffee creamer, water. Cabinets have glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups, and dishes. Its a community kitchen and was super convenient for grab and go breakfast in the morning or night!~ The nightly price was great also for this type B&B. Would definitely stay here again. We travel to this area a few times a year and if available this will be our new go-to!

Very clean and quiet place to stay. Home built in 1901 with many original features but modernized. It was completely booked but you never saw anyone!! Loved the parlor to chill and relax plus the retro game machine. Would definitely come back. First time to stay in a place like this! Only complaint.. need a bigger bar of bath soap...lol..

Wonderful gem of a hotel with just a few rooms. Spotlessly clean and very quiet.

This place is amazing super clean and really beautiful, the room is spacious and the bathroom is super nice, everything was clean and organized, we had an issue on the way so we contacted the property and let them know we will be late and they were great no issues with that at all, we are definitely coming back
