Arctic Skylight Lodge

We had a wonderful experience staying in Arctic Skylight Lodge. The cabin is lovely and comfortable, and the experience of sleeping under the glass roof is absolutely amazing. We loved the feeling of being surrounded by the forest while inside, and didn't even want to close the curtains. There is an option to entirely block the view from neighbours, but we wanted to keep it as open as possible. In the evening we just laid in the bed and looked at the starry sky on top of us, unfortunately no Northern Lights at that night, but we managed to see 2 falling stars! The cabin is not extremely spacious, but it is pleasant in size, not tiny. Nice furniture, comfy bed and quality bedlinen. Also extra credits to the restaurant, the food was amazing. Would definitely go again!

There was a bit of unpleasant smell in the toilet, but it wasn't a big deal. It was difficult to find a plug to charge the phone, there was none near the bed, so you have to leave the phone at the desk.

Beeakfast was so colourful and healthy varity of fruits, salads, salami, youghart and granola with berry jam, and the bread basket was so attractive with different selection of croissant and brown bread. We had selection of berry juices, tea and coffee. The breakfast was made special for us. We informed them of the convinent time.

We needed to be advised the was no wifi in the room prior, however you can access wifi at the lobby. You have to pay to access Hot tub and suana and book it prior to prepare it, it’s not includes in the package if you only book a room! Otherwise it was an amazing experince!

The place, the forest and surrounding are magnificent. The restaurant food is above expectations.

Overall, very clean and the pictures showed a true picture of the accommodation. The restaurant and food were very good and definitely worth the money.

The air in the room is very dry, as the main source of the heating was the AC. The room was very well isolated, which usually is a plus. But it was maybe too good, as the room temperature was really high, especially for sleeping.

Amazing lodge with three glass sides. The view when you wake up is just breathtaking. Staff was very helpful. Restaurant was out of this world a definite place to put on your bucket list to stay.

The location was perfect. It was far enough away from the road but not remote. The entire staff was delightful, informative and made us feel at home. The food was top notch - could deserve a Michelin rating!

Access to our cabin and the sauna/hot tub was a bit precarious. When we commented about the ice near our door they immediately cleared that but the road to and from slippery. We did manage though when we mentioned it and they provided walking sticks.
