Room was actually a TINY separate cabin which increased privacy

Terrible place not the cleanest old out dated rooms light fixtures broken and lamps didn’t even have lamp shades. Id definitely not suggest this place over sleeping outside in a tent.

Mold in the bathroom. Tub was disgusting. Wouldn’t put a finger in it. Frayed wires attached to 1800’s microwave. Lampshades were filthy. Can’t believe we stayed here. Health dept would shut them down if inspected. Woke up to chipmunk in the room…

the place was horrible...it was dirty and old..we found crumbs under the bed and a fork with pasta and sauce beside the bed. the floors were warped and the linens stained. would never recommend staying here.

Room size is great.

Way out of line for the money. Likely better places to stay in the area.

This place sucks way too many negatives to list but the killer was the old dirty wet mold mildew smell and feel to everything in the room and we only were inside on the property for 6 hours trying to get some sleep I would’ve rather slept in the dumpster by the “pool” Buyer beware this place is a dump will be requesting a refund and contacting the proper authorities never again it’s filthy unsafe and unclean. We can’t breathe something bad in the air walls floor or ceiling Probably go see a Doctor for our eyes ears nose and throat. Just Don’t stay here.

The pool is nice but there is no slide as pictured. The cottages are simple and nice for a one night stay. The room we had, the dresser was broken and a pair of shorts was still on the floor from a previous guest

It was nice to have a pool option. Unfortunately we weren't able to use it because we were busy sightseeing and check in isn't until 3pm. We absolutely understand the Covid restrictions and limitations. However, when I checked in, I had said I paid on my card. It wasn't confirmed so I paid with cash, which actually would have saved me over $20. Then when I accessed my Expedia confirmation, I went to get my cash refund. I had asked for a receipt but the desk person said they don't give out receipts?! It had been very hot and humid and my husband wanted to take a shower. There was no hot water. So he wasn't able to shower. He went to the office, but it was locked up and dark. He tried the door bell but no answer. He saw another guest attempt to get help at the office but nobody was there. He also tried the phone on the website, no answer. The next morning he and my daughter couldn't shower because there was no hot water. I took a very cold shower. When he saw the front desk person arrive in the morning, just after 8 am, he went to notify him of no hot water. He told my husband there was an emergency number in the door. My husband said he didn't realize that was for maintenance or assistance. We enjoyed our visit but the lack of mattress pads (just sheets over bare mattresses) and the water issue, we had a poor night of sleep. The front desk person and the man cleaning the rooms were very friendly.

The front desk manager was such a pleasure. He walked us to our room and showed us all of the amenities. This hotel is in a rebuild phase. The manager told us that this summer they are going to close for the winter and completely redo the hotel. This place is located right outside of the village, maybe 5 minutes. It’s a hidden gem!
