Hotel Mahanuge

Very disappointed, the hotel looked lovely in the photos but reality was a different story. With the exception of one waiter none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. The pool was filthy and the water was green. The room was shabby and in desperate need of a refurb, broken bathroom fixtures, hole in sheet, dirty curtains, broken tie-backs. Bar area was okay but at breakfast our table was covered in flies. Avoid this place at all costs

Only Meals Are Good

Staff Was Not Quick & Disciplined, Restaurant Service Really Disappointed, It Tooks 1 hour to Serve 2 Ice Cream With Salad. Dogs Were Everywhere & They Were Sleeping Around Swimming Pool Area, Swimming Pool Lights Were Not Working Properly, Filters Were Not On Until We Asked 2,3 Times, Parking Area Also Not Cleaned Properly, Bottles & Garbages Everywhere

Nice location adjoining to the main road and close proximity to all important locations. The staff was cordial and helpful. The meals provided were reasonable and valued for money.

Extremely kind and polite staff, made our stay very pleasant. The restaurant has an excellent kitchen and our room at the top floor was very comfortable with a nice view on both sides of the property.

Swimming pool needs some maintenance, the yellow part can be removed, nothing dramatic but it takes some action to do it, also to preserve it!
