Familiär geführtes Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Essen

Very nice and welcoming staff. They don't speak English very well so some basic knowledge of German is recommended, however they make up for it with very open attitude and hospitality. My room was spacious, with super comfortable beds and comfortable bathroom. It had all the amenities I could wish for. The location of the hotel is absolutely superb - close to the centre of Grossarl (very nice) and literally on the slope. You can reach ski lift literally directly from hotel's door. With this ski lift you can ski the whole Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area which provides plenty of excellent slopes. Finally, I recommend hotel's restaurant. It serves excellent buffet breakfasts and very good dinners. It's absolutely worth the money it costs. It is also very convenient to have this restaurant in the same building as accommodation. I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and I hope I'll return to it in the coming years. I wish the whole Grossarl / Gastein valley community better winter conditions than in winter of 2023/24 because it's clear that there were many investments in the whole skiing area and it's very well prepared for skiers.

There's really no possibility to adjust heating in the apartment. I needed to dry clothes after a rainy day on the slope and couldn't force warmer temperature of the heaters. Finally, it turned out to be sufficient to dry the clothes out till morning next day but it would be nice to have possibility to regulate the heaters a bit. This is of course a very minor concern. Overall I'm very happy with this hotel's services.
