Easy self check-in. Very nice covered parking spot, which was a huge bonus in the snowy winter. The apartment was very spacious, clean, warm, and comfortable.

The space is fantastic—spacious enough to comfortably accommodate five people, with big dining and living areas and two double beds, making it ideal for groups. Everything was crisp, clean, and smelled fresh. The unit has a washer, which is convenient, although there’s no dryer, so laundry needs to be hung to dry. There’s plenty of storage space, and the first-floor location offers nice views of two streets. The instructions provided were clear and detailed, and the firm beds were very comfortable.

The heating wasn’t sufficient for the winter, leaving the unit feeling cold, especially the WC, which was particularly chilly. The sofa slid around easily and was dirty underneath. The owner seemed a bit anxious about rules—for example, there’s a wall reminder stating checkout is at 10 am, with a note about charging a fee if not followed, which felt a bit harsh. Still, I can understand this might stem from dealing with difficult guests in the past, especially since Biei attracts many tourists. That said, given the truly affordable price, I can’t complain much—it’s a great value for what you get.

Rubbish treatment is a little tricky, the location is beside a shrine which took us a while to find from the gps

Location and clean facilities. Having an apartment with a kitchen and washing machine was quite nice and useful when with a family.

The check in time was quite late.

The accommodation is of a nice size for our family of 4, and it’s clean. It has all we need to the short stay in Biei. Highly recommended.
