Northlander Motel

We had a car disaster and had to be towed into the Sault and then hang around to find out what was wrong and sort out a plan B The staff were brilliant, from helping to carry bags to rooms, volunteering late check out and other friendly helpful things. This small indpenedent motel is now being run by the family's second generation. Some staff have been there nearly twenty years. The owners are reinvesting in the property and updating it. I have being staying here when I pass through the Sault for some time. I would describe this as a basic and economic motel done very well. When I was planning this trip there was never any doubt we would stay here. Their response to our misadventure was over the top. Certainly a repeat for me.

The reception was very welcome. The ladies and young man were very pleasant. The difference in prices was explained very well.

The road in and out of the property was very bumpy with holes and large speed bumps. The signage to the motel was not the best . The entrance is beside a telephone pole and tricky for the turn.

It’s cleanliness and Staff were very punctually friendly

Nothing be it was all superficial good

That it was close to amenities and I had forgotten stuff there they called me right away even tho I couldn't go back

Perfect place for my budget and needs

It wasn't fancy, but very clean, comfortable and met our needs.
