The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Quattro Canti, wonderful shops, cafés and restaurants and all the sights. The balcony affords a real city life experience, with a view of the streets below, lovely church bells, people milling around, traffic noise and sirens, chattering of locals and tourists, plus, during our stay, a grandstand view of classic cars from the Targa Florio rally, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pay off is that it’s extremely noisy, day and night, but we didn’t mind that and the top bedroom is much quieter. The two bathrooms were a must, for our group of four. Amit was our contact and was friendly and easy to contact. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and fresh towels and linen were supplied half way through our visit. Some tea and coffee, oil, salt and pepper, herbs, washing up liquid were left in the the kitchen, which we found useful.

There is no kettle, so water has to be boiled in a pan in the hob. The fittings throughout are poor quality and badly installed, kitchen cupboards are falling to bits, light fixtures flicker and some have dead bulbs, shower screens leak, some furniture is a bit rickety. The beds are very hard. There are not enough pillows - only five supplied- and when we asked for more, we were told they do not supply extra pillows! There is only one bedside lamp in the whole apartment and the main bedroom lacks bedside cupboards and lamps, the centre light has to be switched off at the door. The property does not have WiFi- we were told that it is not listed on the website, but we have never stayed anywhere without it, in recent years, so we had just assumed that it would be available.

Un po’ troppo rumorosa

La ubicacion es buena. Si bien esta en un lugar bullicioso naturalmente, esta al alcance de todo lo que se quiera visitar.

No tiene WIFI. Si bien en la publucacion dice que no lo tiene, es un servicio que uno da por sentado, porque es necesario, y no existe. La tercera habitacion no es tal, es un desvan luego de la escalera que no tiene ventilacion ni luz. El catre puesto es muy incomodo, como todas las camas brindadas. Es bastante oscuro el departamento en general y las luces estaban quemadas en su mayoria. Nos comentaron que era en un primero piso por escalera, pero realmente es un segundo piso por una escalera enpinada y angosta, lo cual dificulta la subida con maletas y niños. El anfitrion nos pidio completar todas las planillas de la reserva, cuando en ningun otro hospedaje lo solicitaron de esa manera.

Il nostro host Amit è stato super gentile e disponibile. Eravamo in 5 ci siamo trovati benissimo, l'appartamento era accogliente e c'erano i giusti spazi per tutti. Anche la posizione era ottima, per le nostre passeggiate serali.
