We travelled here by train from Napoli (trains were reliable and cheap, not like the UK!). Fabio was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble and ensured our stay was perfect. I can't thank Fabio enough for his amazing hospitality. The food Fabio prepared was phenomenal. All fresh local produce, which we loved, and if you love sea food like we do - it's literally food heaven! Each course had amazing flavours and I really can't emphasize enough how much we enjoyed the food he prepared! We stayed here off season so the area was very quiet and it was just what we were after for a relaxing get away! Perfect for relaxing with nature after experiencing the hustle and bustle and tourist attractions of Napoli. The B and B is located in a Nature reserve and if you're into nature (like we are), there was lots to explore! We even saw a wild bore on one of our walks. As we visited during the off season there weren't any local amenities which were open, but Fabio ensured this wasn't a problem. Fabio was very knowledgeable and ensured we could get out and about, explore and enjoy our holiday without being too imposing. He spoke very good English and even with us speaking very little Italian, this was never a problem during our stay. We can't thank Fabio enough and we'd love to come back. Thankyou!

Ogliastro Marina is great, on the road to nowhere so has a very low key vibe which is exactly what we were looking for. Villa Edwige is in an elevated position at the edge of the small town with breathtaking views from our room. The rooms themselves are simply furnished, spacious, peaceful and clean. Like others have said before, it is Fabio what makes this place stand apart . He is both welcoming and helpful whilst also giving you your own space. He is also a fantastic chef, my family and I had a couple of wonderful seafood/fish meals here. You can also have a choice of savoury or sweet breakfast, both great. The local beaches are within easy walking distance or a short car ride away. You can hire paddle boards, beds etc and the sea is very calm. You can also walk through along the coast to Punta Licosa for a nice shade walk in the protected park (no cars). Fabio also organised a nice afternoon snorkelling boat trip to Punta du Licosa for us which was great value and a lot of fun.

Cannot find really anything worth to mention. Nothing is perfect of course and everything can be improved overall.
