A Fabulous Stay at the Sable Hotel We had a fabulous time at the Sable Hotel and loved everything about it—the view, the room, and the food. The view was truly exceptional. Each evening, after a full day of touring, we could watch the city from our room as the skyline and lake transitioned from day into night. In the mornings, we were treated to the sunrise rising over the Chicago skyscrapers—a breathtaking start to the day. Service was consistently high. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job with our room, the reception staff were warm and efficient, and the waitstaff were always pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast daily, which was both lovely and tasty. Special mention goes to Denisse, a waiter with genuine expertise in catering for coeliacs, which made us feel well looked after. We also enjoyed drinks on the rooftop bar—a lovely, relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The pier itself offered plenty to see and do. We took the architecture tour directly from the pier and learned a great deal about the city. As a special touch, the hotel treated us to rides on the Ferris wheel of which we did twice, and the viewing experience was nothing short of amazing. Transport to other parts of the city was readily available—buses, Uber, and more—though most days we chose to walk everywhere. Overall, the Sable Hotel delivered a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Nothing - just a minor recommendation - we had the breakfast arrangements clarified prior to arrival. For all guests it be good to be clear on arrangements i.e voucher towards free selection from breakfast menu at lirica with some items funded and others partially funded by the voucher. Overall a fabulous stay at a top hotel.

The location was great. The view is beautiful.

A little pricey, but was willing to splurge for this time .

We enjoyed the large extended window view of the lake. The hotel was connected to the stores, restaurants, and activities on the Navy Pier. Great location!

Did not have breakfast at the hotel.

This is not a comment on The Sable, but overall, I was quite disappointed with the food experience this trip. Especially the food court on Navy Pier. Over and over we were told that items were not available. Restaurants closed at 6-7 pm?

What was there not to like!

Bones vistes desde la habitació.

Booking no explica que l'esmorçar es a la carta. Per tant, no está tot inclòs, com vaig acordar amb Booking. Et donan un "vaucher" de 18.00 $ per persona/dia. O sigui, en el nostre cas erems 3 persones. I un "vaucher" total per 54.00 dòlars 3 persones/dia. Però, un cop allá, en el menú del esmorçar, una truita a la francesa tipus paisana, molt completa amb patates i rucola, ja et val 25.00 $. A més, has d'afegir el cost del suc de taronja, les torrades amb mantega, el cafè amb llet. Ens sortia una mitja diària entre totes tres persones de 97.00 $. Això, es impagable, a més, tinguen l'acord amb Booking d'esmorçar inclòs. Vaig protestar, que no hi estava gens d'acord, i desprès d'una llarga discusió amb el Director del hotel, va donar-nos un "vaucher" per import de 90.00 ~per 3 persones/dia. Si us plau, senyors de Booking, expliquin aquest detal del "vaucher" en el moment de contractar la reserva. Per arrivar al hotel, s'ha de atravesar tota la zona d'oci i comercial del Pier. Es triga 7 minuts a peu. Això, varis cops al dia.
