Sleep Inn Durango

Modern, clean and comfortable.

Exercise room had limited machines and weights. An adjustable bench and cables for pull downs would be nice.

The staff were amazing, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The room was clean and the bathroom had plenty of space for our toiletries. There were lights on both sides of the bed with shelf space at bedside for a few items. Microwave and small fridge included. Free parking.

The heating/cooling could have been quieter. My husband found the bed too soft (though I liked it). The carpet had stains and what looked like a burn spot about an inch in diameter.

My my stay was horrible, I was continuously harassed by staff. It was a very uncomfortable stay. I felt like I was walking on egg shells the entire time I didn't enjoy anything about the stay.

Convenient location, clean with nicely appointed rooms. Very comfortable. Would stay there again.

The stay and staff were great UNTIL I got a knock on my door, where Iposted do not disturb sign and it was close to 10pm. I didn't answer because I was scared. In the morning I opened my door to find outside my door a folded billing receipt with All of my personal information listed and partial credit card number. Wtf?! Anyone could have taken that paper. I was told at check in and I asked before checking out that my bill would be emailed. Why the knock at 10pm and why my info left to anyone outside my door? I called to speak with GM and was not put through to let them know what happened and ask to review security tapes.

In general it was fine. met expectations

Would be nice to enter the shower without getting doused with cold water. Loved the walk in shower, but the design does not allow you to start the water without getting wet. Very poor design

The hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. Quiet with a good night sleep and comfortable beds. About four miles to the Durango Silverton railroad and an easy drive. Close to restaurants and other shopping meeds.
