The property has a very nice lobby. Clean and appealing but once through the doors to the hallway going to our room, it was filthy to the point of disgusting. Carpet was filthy with stains that could be blood.

The hotel is rather well worn in the public area. Grim in the corners of the elevator and just not shiny anymore.

The lobby is so cozy and welcoming — it made a great first impression. The pool was absolutely wonderful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The kids had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave!

Overall the stay was good. The kids really enjoyed the pool area. The building itself is very unique and fun to explore. The room was a bit dated and carpet in our room was dirty and aged and felt kinda icky to walk on. The office chair in the room also felt kinda dirty. The room had a musty smell. The beds, sheets and towels were all clean though and that's really what counts. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. Overall I'd say it wasn't bad. The ammenities outweighed the poor aspects of the stay.

It feels strange to have lots of security workers in a hotel. Makes it seem like it is a bit of an unsafe place as I’m not used of seeing a hotel have security. We never saw anything that made us feel unsafe though

Mini adventure! Our family booked two rooms and only stayed one night at this hotel. Overall, things were great. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The pool was a highlight! The only issue we had was with staff not honouring our request for adjoining rooms. I called the hotel directly 8 days before our arrival and requested adjoining rooms. I understand that this is dependent on availability. I was informed that the adjoining rooms were available and they would booked them for our family. We were very disappointed upon arrival when we were told that they had booked out one half of the two adjoining rooms so we could not have them. (Yes, this large hotel only has one pair or adjoining rooms!) Very frustrating. All the apologies from the hotel do not solve this issue. Please improve your system for honouring guest requests. The other issue we experienced was that due to staffing issues, neither of the hotel’s two restaurants were open on the day we arrived. We had counted on having supper in the hotel. Another disappointment. Would we stay again? For sure! Would we trust them, likely not.

All good except noisy air conditioning and pull out bed was down although only myself in the room

While the hotel is a bit dated, it’s very clean and staff is friendly and efficient. A continental breakfast would make it a 5/5.

The hotel was good for what we needed. Reasonable price for somewhere to sleep before surgery early the next morning. Our room had a “smell” to it that wasn’t terrible, just was noticeable when you opened the door.
