Andaman Sunflower

The place is wonderful, beautiful garden, plenty of plants and animals, very cute Bungalow, the mattress is comfortable. For the long Beach you have to walk 7 minutes to get to the sandy beach. I loved waking up in middle of the animals and yes they make noise which I loved. It's called a "budget Bungalow" and I knew that there's no hot water and I was totally fine with it, but...

I think this place needs a little more love. The towels are so old, more like rags. The hammock, the carpets and the moskito net needs to be washed sometimes, they were dirty (moskito net was dirty where the feet touch the net) an it was taped with a plaster... These things are so easy to fix and make so much difference. And the mirror in the bath is so old, you can't see anything.

This was the best bungalow we have stayed in during our 5 months in Southeast Asia. It is spacious, super clean, very high quality mosquito net, huge bed, porch with hammock and chairs, I mean you really cannot ask for more value in a place like this. But on top of all that, the hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming 🥰 The location is also great, close to the main road but hidden so you have beautiful green garden surrounding you and you won’t hear any of the noise from the busy road. Recommended a 100% 👌🏽

It was in a great location, a few minutes walk to the beach. However it was probably a 10 minute walk to the parts of the beach that you can actually swim in. Still good location. A 5 minute walk to several restaurants and 7/11 etc. Visually the bungalow was quite nice and the hammock was pleasant. We had to book on short notice and the price was much better than the other options The fan was fairly strong The staff seemed nice.

So many mosquitoes. The whole cabin is filled with holes so endless mosquitoes get in. We applied the mosquito net as well as possible but they would still get in the bed and there were times there was 10+ mosquitoes around us at a time. We woke up with mosquito bites and dead mosquitos around us. It is very very hot in there. I really recommend spending a bit more and getting a place with aircon. It's definitely worth it. There are so many roosters around that are constantly crowing overnight and early in the morning. They even go under the cabin so it's like they're crowing directly next to your head and it's very very loud and annoying. It is situated on the Rocky side of the beach that isn't too swimmable, so it's more like a 10 minute walk to the part of the beach you can swim in.
