Our restaurant and bar are currently closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience. A range of dining options are available nearby. Please note that this property is located right next to the A30 road and guests might experience some noise disturbance. Pre-authorisation will be taken upon arrival to cover for any damages caused to the property. An amount equivalent to the booked room rate will be taken for 1-night stays and 50% of the total room rate for bookings for more than one night. A surcharge of £25 applies for arrivals after check-in hours. For any checkin post 10 pm, it is mandatory to contact the hotel pro-actively to check if late checkin is available. This is whole sole consent of the property if they will be in a position to entertain the late check-inPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "If it wasn’t for the location I wouldn’t bother"

Location, clean

Looks like a demolition site, fenced and boarded ( not recent) bar and restaurant said to be closed for refurbishment but more like demolition. Sheets very nylon ( but clean) laminate flooring with gaps. Shower door missing completely. No staff on site.

"Would stay again but minor improvements would make it all the better!"

Good location, nice and clean, free parking, allowed early check in, comfortable bed

Small details that didn’t effect our stay, tea/coffee in room, there was no tea, no milk and no spoon. Compact bathroom and the shower door couldn’t open fully as hit the sink. Only 1 pillow per person on bed.

"Brief and convenient"

Location and price, good for a stopover for 1 night. Receptionist was very kind , polite & hospitable, carried my bag upstairs.

No on site facilities bar and restaurant closed, side of hotel boarded up and looked run down uninviting on arrival, but ok once inside.

"Room very good despite the look of building and surrounds."

Room was very clean and well appointed. Position was easy to find and great spot for exploring the area

Outside very rough around the edges. Garden overgrown and building needing repair. Restaurant been closed for renovations for over a year! A small refrigerator would be a good addition to room.

"Exceptional"

My room was cosy.

I could hear other people quite loud in the hall as they arrived. But then it seemed quite nice and quiet whilst I snoozed. So i slept well

Check in was easy. Room for the price was good. Good office/conference area This hotel has so much potential and it’s a bit sad to see it not fully utilised.

This hotel has so much potential and it’s a bit sad to see it not fully utilised. Room has a not very nice bedside lamp that is fluorescent, the drain in bathroom smelt badly and the skylight in the room had a poor curtain and the noise from the road (because skylight was cheap plastic) Honestly for about the cost of a couple of nights stay they could turn this in to a really nice hotel. Buy some bedside lamps, put some ‘decorations’, cut the grass outside, open the bar/restaurant and this hotel would be full.

"Very Good"

Clean, well decorated, comfortable bed

It had nothing, no food drink restaurant/bar . It was just a bed for the night. If I was aware of this before booking, I wouldn't have stayed
