The room was compact but it had all facilities. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. There was not only a washer-dryer, but the bathroom ventilation system also had a drying facility. So if you have any clothes that should not be tumble-dried (like socks), you can still dry them in the bathroom. The location was also very convenient.

The size - it was a constant struggle to move things around to make space to even open a suitcase for example. However, I assume this is standard for Kyoto.
