The Inn at Meadowbrook

Get setting especially the grounds and walking trails. Service and staff were excellent. great place to be home base for exploring KC.

Lovely large room with huge shower. Close to KC shopping and attractions. Outstanding restaurants. Walkable paths around man made small lake. In the middle of “gated” retirement type housing but all beautifully done.

The hotel had very accommodating public areas where we could gather with fellow guests and enjoy one another's company. Having a park with walking trails right outside was an added bonus. It would be nice if they had microwaves in the rooms.

Lighting in the room for reading was inadequate.

It started out to be a lovely day. We enjoyed the surroundings until after a very long day at KU Medical Center testing and waiting for results. We came back to the end and wanted so badly to sit in the hot tub for a little bit to unwind and we were promptly hollered at Over the fence by an employee who informed us that we had to leave because the pool hours were from 8 to 8 and it was 830. They’re two problems I have with that is that we were not giving any literature for for pool hours at check-in and Nora was there any signage with the pool hours written Until the next day we noticed that somebody had filled in the hours on the sign on the gate, unfortunately it really ruined the rest of our trip and we will not go back there and we are only giving this review because we were very hurt by the whole situation. It’s not something that you would want to have done to you or anyone else therefore With all the great reviews the place has it’s sad that we have to leave a review like this I have never been treated that way at a lesser establishment. This is supposed to be a class establishment. Well, the employee showed no class towards my husband and myself. Imagine Holly ran over the fence that you have to leave the pool at 8:30 at night most pools are open till 10 and with no signage we had no idea.

This hotel is our families favorite! Anytime we are in town this is where we stay! The cleanest, most comfortable and friendly hotel around!

Overall a great hotel nestled within a beautiful and quiet area. There is a fantastic park within walking distance and plenty of food options nearby. The room was spacious. Our shower head may have been broken and only had two sprayer settings, but everything else was very nice. Overall the hotel was quiet and comfortable. The tv allowed for casting which was a nice touch. Onsite coffee/dining options were fantastic!
