原鄉商旅 Yuan Hsiang Hotel

Loved our stay this hotel. It was cozy and very comfortable. In regards to the accommodations (ex: elevator, bed, bathroom, decor, etc) it was almost on the same the level of some of the nice hotels (Hilton and Marriot properties) we stayed at Taipei.

Would have loved it if the room came with pants hangers (in addition to the shirt hangers that were provided), that way guest can properly hang their entire outfit. Additionally, we would have preferred for our room to include an iron and ironing board.

Pretty good location, not far from from train station. Comfortable bed and room with great streaming available (Netflix and YouTube) on good size TV. Breakfast was pretty good. Yu Shan National Park is great and we rented good bikes from nearby shop and cycled to visitors center and up quiet mountain road to trailhead, and hiked to waterfalls and 2 suspension bridges.

Small balcony looked at parking lot and adjacent building and had no chairs. At check in, they seemed that they didn’t have our Booking noted and assigned a room after a bit of confusion, so although I had requested higher floor and some view, we ended up on 3rd floor (of 6) street side with adjacent building and limited view. Yuli city itself is pretty bland. Hotel also has some bikes to borrow which looked ok for very short trips. Note that the bike path to Old Dongli train station SE of the city is almost entirely closed due to extensive construction next to Hwy 9, so recommend cycling towards western hills and Yu-Shan instead.

The room is clean and the facility in the bathroom is really good. This hotel is highly recommended for everyone to stay.

Small room but with the amenities of a much more expensive hotel. Incredibly good price. Apparently, every room has a balcony and mine had gorgeous views of the mountains. After all, this town is at the foot of Yu Shan mountain—also, the collision of two tectonic plates over by the river. Cutest town on the east coast? Low-key, uncrowded (unlike many villages here), incredibly easy scooter or bike rental at the train station. The hotel also has bicycles for guests…I’ve heard the Yuli hot springs are great, too. With much apprehension, I tried the famous Yuli Stinky Tofu. I survived, and can honestly say it WASN’T BAD(!).

沒想到玉里有這麼優的飯店，衛浴設備很高級，地點方便，吃飯購物皆走路可到。
