The few "issues" we had at the beginning were fully rectified almost immediately. Fantastic staff. Most important, Pietro was amazing. Beautiful location with fantastic views. My wife and I would strongly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying at La Contrade. Our room had a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and the promenade. The room, although small, was comfortable and clean. Pietro was an outstanding host. He went out of his way to meet our every need. He recommended and personally introduced us to the best local restaurants. He even accompanied us there so we did not get lost. He took us to the beautiful beach club for our one free day and arranged everything there with the host. He was always there to answer every question and to offer help, if needed. Because of Pietro, we truly got to experience southern Italy’s warmth and hospitality and to fully enjoy the beautiful town of Monopoli.

This is a lovely and special property in old town Monopoli with stunning views out to sea. Pietro and the team went out of their way to make us welcome. Our arrival was delayed due to flight issues but Pietro kept in touch with us and met us at the railway station even though it was late in the evening. It was a really excellent welcome after a long journey. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed, including a minibar. We had a balcony overlooking the promenade and the sea and it was lovely to sit out there at the end of the day and watch the sea and the world go by. Would definitely stay there again and look forward to returning to the beautiful town of Monopoli.
