Disastrous experience – Cockroaches in the room and zero customer service An absolute nightmare for 150 EUR a night. We found cockroaches in our room during the night. The reception was completely abandoned, and when we finally reached someone by phone, we were just told to change rooms ourselves without any apology. The manager at checkout was extremely arrogant, refused any refund, and even tried to blame us for our arrival time. Do not stay here if you care about hygiene and basic human decency. Horrible place!

The panoramic view from our room was beautiful, and the staff at check-in were genuinely kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, that is where my positive comments end.

Without writing a novel, I’ll summarize our experience as best as I can: - The room location was difficult to access. We first had to go to the top of the hotel, through a roof door, uphill and around the corner. Anyone with even mild mobility issues would struggle to reach it. I honestly cannot imagine what this route would be like with snow and ice. - The room itself did not feel clean. There was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling and in parts of the room itself. One of the windows looked directly into what appeared to be storage for tires and car parts. Overall, the room felt neglected and unhygienic. Even the wrapped plastic cups broke after a single use, and at that point I was questioning the cleanliness of pretty much everything around us. - We carried our suitcases down before breakfast because we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, breakfast felt like another disappointment. The atmosphere from staff felt more like we were a burden than guests. I watched a staff member wearing gloves use a phone, wipe down tables and the floor, touch multiple surfaces, and then handle food without changing those same gloves. That completely destroyed any confidence I had in the hygiene standards. We were genuinely relieved when we left. We even decided against asking for coffee because by that point our confidence in the cleanliness standards was gone. We did not use the wellness area because after our experience with the room and breakfast, we no longer felt comfortable using additional facilities. This hotel has potential because the location and views are lovely, but it is in serious need of better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to hygiene.
