At Journey's End

Very central to the historic district, private parking, small but very comfortable room with a large balcony.. Lovely old house with kitchen, laundry, sitting & dining rooms and excellent wifi.

Entry to the room was through the bathroom which was weird at first but quickly became normal.

Location was great. It was a nice little room upstairs and tastefully decorated. The shower was strange to us as we don’t have side sprays or a rainfall in our shower so if you can’t see without your glasses on, you better grab ‘em before you start turning knobs. I got soaked by the side shower.

I did not like the strength of the air freshener as soon as you open the door. The scent was nice but overpowering for such a small space.

Location was brilliant. Really central and we had called miles from there each day. We stayed in the David Livingstone room which was large, bed was super comfy and the patio was a bonus. Debbie was fantastic, friendly and really helpful. We had an issue with the shower, and which resulted in us feeling awful, but Debbie managed it professionally and reassured that it was through no fault of hours. She quickly arranged for a plumber and all was fixed. Complimentary tea and coffee was also greatly appreciated and helped us to get going in the morning. The availability of car parking was also an added bonus. We would definitely not hesitate to book again.

Lovely 2 night stay. Location was walkable to everything we wanted to do. Nice extra touches in the room, including a water cooler, liquid soap for handwashing, rinse cups in the bathroom, charging stations on nightstands, and umbrellas (and it did rain so we needed them!). Would definitely stay again!

There was no breakfast included in our particular accommodations but we had a kitchen in our unit with a coffee maker. So, we could have made our own breakfasts. We chose to explore the nearby restaurants for breakfast instead.

The only thing that could have been better was the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't a major problem and the bathroom was very large, nicely done and had everything we needed in it. We just prefer a more powerful shower head.

Great location within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Our room in the main house was well furnished, very comfortable and of a good size. There is also a shared kitchen area to use in the house and a lovely lounge. We went to a nearby coffee shop called Southern Grounds for breakfast which was ideal.

This B&B was great. Our room was perfect snd it is located in a perfect location.
