Absolutely love this place. It's quiet, peaceful and in a lovely location. Second time we have stayed. From the UK and we will be back! Love sitting by the water jn the early morning or evening

Nothing really. If I was being really, really picky I could say the pool could be heated. But to be honest none of the pools are heated in the Keys, I stayed in March and still enjoyed a swim.

Very good location. Bathroom need some updating. The tile on the floor was unstable and the bath need some updating. Overall the area was peaceful and quite with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Upon our arrival at Bonefish Bay Resort, we checked in at the office and were informed that our reservation was for one of the Aqua Lodge boats, described as a deluxe bungalow. We were told this information was being clarified because our reservation had been made through VRBO, a third-party booking platform. When we made our reservation, the first photo displayed a cabin-style unit rather than a houseboat, and the remaining photos also depicted a cabin-like structure. This presentation was misleading and did not accurately reflect the actual accommodations. We reserved what was listed as a two-bedroom cabin for four adults. However, the unit provided contained only one bedroom, with an additional bed placed in the hallway directly across from the bathroom and outside the entrance to the main bedroom. This configuration does not constitute a second bedroom. The listing should have accurately stated that the unit sleeps five people in a one-bedroom layout rather than representing it as a two-bedroom accommodation. As two couples traveling together, the lack of a true second bedroom significantly impacted our stay and did not meet reasonable expectations based on the listing. Additionally, the unit lacked adequate storage space, hangers, and wall hooks, making the stay less convenient and comfortable. We also spoke with two other guests who shared similar disappointment, as they were also expecting a cabin rather than a houseboat. They were likewise informed that the discrepancy resulted from booking through a third-party platform. Having worked in the travel industry for over 30 years, I understand the importance of accurate representation. The responsibility for ensuring that photos and descriptions accurately reflect the property lies with the resort, not the third-party booking platform. The presentation of the Aqua Lodge units in the listing was misleading and should be corrected to prevent future guest dissatisfaction. We ask that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to address the inaccurate listing and consider a resolution for the misrepresentation.

It was quaint, cozy, clean. Had a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, real dishes and silverware. Only stayed overnight but could have stayed longer. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable. Ant say enough good things bout this place! I highly recommend! Jane G.
