Hotel Europalace

The hotel is located on the promenade in front of Veril Beach, which was the most important thing for me.

Perfect location, very close to the ocean - you can have a swim, wrap yourself in a towel and be in your room like in 5 min. Well maintained place, clean, staff very nice, polite. Very good shop right in the hotel. Views from the rooms are amazing. And there is little kitchen in the room.

Most of the guests are above 60 years old, or even more, no playground for children. There is no evening programs which is ok, but the music from nearby hotel in the evenings is extremely loud, and it comes in through the door so nothing you can do about it.

Nice sea view. Close to beach, shops and busses. Cleaning staff and kitchen staff nice and friendly.

Food plentiful but not suited to our palates. Not possible to get a cup of tea or coffee after dinner. Paid too much for half board when food so boring. 70 steps to go up and down to get to property. Had to pay 10euros deposit for a remote control that had 1 English speaking channel. Jacuzzi was ice cold and it didn’t work properly. Only 2 electric rings to cook on- no oven, microwave or toaster. No iron or facilities to wash or tumble dry clothes. Drinks dispenser was faulty on floor-1. Had to go to supermarket up the road on arrival to buy water as supermarket on site was closed. No fan in bathroom. On morning we were leaving, check out was at 12 midday. The maid knocked on the door before 10am. I checked that check out time was midday and she gave me a note stating 12 midday was check out time. At 11.40 am, the maid knocked again so we left the room. When leaving property, we returned keys to room, safe key and tv remote control, we were handed back deposits of 20 euros. I said ‘Thank you’ and nothing. Never said ‘Thank you for staying with us, we hope you enjoyed your stay’ NOTHING. This really annoyed us.

Excellent location just in front of the beach. Nice view over the ocean and the dunes. Varied breakfast and dinner.

There was no door at the bedroom, so all the snoring was going out. And a glass door at the bathroom, which made the bathroom less private. The 9th floor was a bit too high.

Great location, a very short walk to the beach. Taxi/car stop is just a bit away from the hotel entrance. (As for the bus, the stops are much harder to reach.) There's a supermarket in the hotel lobby with everything necessary. The room was very spacious and looked great. The staff was helpful. The was plenty of food, and the prices for drinks in the evening (not included in the stay) such as a bottle of wine were suprisingly very pleasant.

The food (esp. breakfast) was a bit repetitive every day (though still quite satisfactory). Beds and pillows were somewhat uncomfortable. The room had a smart TV but the TV wasn't connected to the Internet at all, so, it wasn't possible to use it for e.g. Netflix or YouTube. The Wi-Fi connection in general worked, but sometimes was problematic.

Very nice and professional staff, good food and plenty of it, not very busy location right by the beach.

There is a problem with parking if you have a car. You can park in nearby street by the hotel but its usually very busy. They have offered me parking at the hotel and it was not expensive (5€ by night) but it is on a big hillside and not easy to park your car or get out of the parking. But everything else was very good, which make our vacation unforgettable! So Bravo!!! Just go on like that and make up some things about guest parking. We will definitely be back and reccomend you.

Very nice and clean hotel. Yes its not the newest one but very dicent. It has a great view on the ocean and big pool with big area with sunbeds. Food is ok. One thing I never seen in any other hotel is how cleaning is done. Hotel Crew is basiccally cleaning all day.All sunbeds, floors, every window.
