Motel 6 San Rafael, CA

I would’ve given them a five star, but I had issues with late checkout. I requested a late check out from the day. I arrived until the day I was departing it was granted, but I had housekeeping, knocking from before regular check out time up to until the time I was supposed to be checking out I also had front desk calling me, so the whole purpose of me sleeping in was defeated. I was pretty annoyed by the disturbances.

Parking is to small.

The hotel tried to charge my card before i even got to the room. I keep my cards locked until i use them, so since they couldn't charge my card without my permission theg canceled my room. I chose the option to pay when i arrived, not before. So the hotel canceled my room, then i had to drive back home 2 hours away cause i couldn't secure a room for the holiday weekend cause everything was extremely high cause of memorial day. I very much upset about the whole experience cause it cost so much money to drive back and forth this weekend. Very unacceptable.

Commercial location. Basic no frills,/ shampoo OK for price Left before breakfast

It was a place to stay

The location was close to stores, Central area, and restaurants. There was a problem with the original room and the staff was quick to move me, even allowing me early check I'm (which helped since I needed get some work done) Room was spacing

Needed some upgrades One blanket, no comforter Outdated Fridge leaked

In the post Covid area this is one of the few hotels I have stayed in that had daily maid service.
