We were in Cabin 6 which was quite roomy, We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning looking at & listening to the river while we had our coffee. Easy drive to Estes Park downtown, The Stanley Hotel, & entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Wonderful communication with the staff who would briefly check in each day to see if we needed anything.
My husband and i stayed her two nights. They contacted me before i arrived to introduce themselves and see if anything was need for our stay. The cottage itself was so cute. We did not use the kitchen but it had everything for a light meal. The property sits on the water. After a long day of hiking, nothing is better then sitting on the porch listening to the river and not hearing any traffic. Con: shower was a bit small.

The property was pretty run down. The bed was rickety and felt like it was going to break at any time. The staff is only available from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM so we checked in around 6PM. There wasn’t a hair dryer but we couldn’t inquire because it was after hours and we left early in the morning so we had to buy one at a grocery store.
While the location of this property is ideal for going to Rocky Mountain National Park, it was not the best kept cottage. We stayed in cottage #1 and it was pretty dirty. There were many cobwebs and dusty areas that hadn’t been touched in a long time. We found several spiders in our room as well.

We loved the quaint cabin feel— RIGHT on the river!! The unit we had was the perfect size for 2 people. The staff was very communicative and very helpful when navigating RMNP (4 minutes away). HIGHLY recommend.
Not many bad things to say really but a couple nasty spiders and a windy door that sounded like someone was trying to get in definitely made the stay a little less comfortable than desired. Other than that the place was great. Very clean and the hot tub was nice but loud so running it after 10pm may be a problem
