Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat

Toto byl náš pátý resort na Maledivách, takže jsme měli více srovnání. Rozhodně to bylo nejlepší místo, na kterém jsme byli: - personál je naprosto skvělý, vždy nápomocný, ale ne vlezlý. Paní na recepci (bohužel si nepamatuji její jméno) má skvělou angličtinu a udělala vše proto, abychom měli skvělý pobyt - jídlo bylo dobré ve všech maledivských resortech, kde jsme doposud byli, ale zde bylo výjimečně dobré. Výběr není tak velký, ale zato dochucení a kvalita je nad průměrem, nejlepší byla jídla připravovaná přímo na místě šéfkuchařem. - vína v rámci all inclusive nejsou z bag in bagů, jak to je často standard i u dražších resortů, ale z lahví. A jsou dobrá. - vodní vila byla velmi dobře vybavená, úklid na jedničku - domácí útes je skvělý - vždy se bojíme, aby u hotelu útes byl, protože někteří hosté hodnotí pozitivně útes a ve skutečnosti myslí, že viděli barevné ryby v laguně a hotel ani domácí útes nemá. Tento hotel útes má, viděli jsme žraloky, želvy, manty, všechny možné ryby a k tomu je zde hodně barevných a živých korálů. - ostrov je velmi malý a komorní, s rodinnou a klidnou atmosférou. Žádná otravná večerní hudba a program. A co nás nejvíc potěšilo - žádní otravní turisté z Ruska, kteří nám dokázali nejednu dovolenou zkazit.

Líbilo se nám všechno a určitě se rádi vrátíme.

Отдых в отеле оставил очень яркие впечатления! ✨ Персонал — внимательный, доброжелательный и всегда готовый помочь. Сам остров и наш номер оказались чудесными, а подводный мир — настоящая сказка: акулы, скаты, невероятные рыбы, которые навсегда останутся в памяти. Бар заслуживает отдельного упоминания — коктейли выше всяких похвал, одни из лучших, что мы пробовали. Несмотря на то, что были в сезон дождей, погода радовала и ни разу не омрачила отдых. Из минусов — выбор блюд мог бы быть более разнообразным, хотя сама еда была вкусной. Интернет в отеле слабый и временами мешал. Также не хватало вечерних активностей — после ужина обстановка становилась слишком тихой. Мы молоды (до 30 лет), и сложилось впечатление, что отдых здесь больше подходит для людей постарше, кто ценит спокойствие и уединение. Молодым же, возможно, интереснее будет смотаться в Тай или Мексику за более активной атмосферой.

Water Villa magnifique comme dans la présentation, personnel très serviable, restauration très bien. L'île est toute petite et très calme et le resort sans animation (ce qui correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes pour 6 nuits) mais je n'ose pas imaginer les jours de mauvais temps..... il n'y a rien à faire à part se payer un massage au SPA en attendant que le soleil revienne.

Le prix du snorkling accompagné à coté du ponton d'arrivée : 70$ PAR PERSONNE pour 1 h ! Le ressort n'est pas responsable des fonds marins qui sont très abimés avec bcp de corail mort autour de l'île; Par contre, faire payer pour du snorkling autour resort est du vol surtout quand l'accompagnateur ne communique pas et qu'il avancve comme un TGV. Nous n'avons rien vu et surtout rien de plus que quand nous nagions seules. La faune est malheureusement bien loin d'être dense mais il y a quand même de quoi s'émerveiller en nageant et/ou en ouvrant bien les yeux quand on longe le lagon et c'est GRATUIT ( quelques anémones et poissons clown à 2 mètres de l'escalier du ponton, des requins, des raies, une tortues et quelques autres poissons aux belles couleurs).

Era nuestra segunda vez en el hotel y teníamos miedo de que no fuera tal y como lo recordábamos, pero sin duda ha sido aún mejor! El personal del restaurante encantador, trato impecable hacia nosotras en todo momento, y la comida está increíble, tuvieron muchos detalles bonitos. Si te gusta el mar, es tu lugar, los instructores nos facilitaron todas las inmersiones, trato de 10 desde el centro de buceo. Haciendo snorkel alrededor del propio hotel mucha vida marina, un espectáculo. Las chicas del spa también nos atendieron de maravilla. Muy contentas y con ganas de repetir.

We had the most incredible time at Drift Thelu and truly can’t recommend this resort enough - it’s an absolute paradise 🌴🌊 A huge, heartfelt thank you to Maria, who made our stay a solid 11/10 Thanks to her thoughtful care and organization, every moment was perfect - especially the unforgettable excursions she helped us plan🙌🏻💙 Speaking of adventures, we’re so grateful to the entire diving center team for some of the most magical experiences of our lives - swimming with whale sharks and manta rays was a dream come true, and their passion and professionalism made it all the more special💙🤿 The house reef right by the hotel is mind-blowing - we snorkeled every day and kept discovering new wonders - it’s like swimming in a real-life aquarium 🐠🪸 The cocktails were delicious: shout-out to the amazing bartenders who made every drink with flair and a smile 🍹 The food was another highlight - especially the live cooking station, where the chef prepared dishes tailored to your taste, fresh and full of flavor - every meal felt like a treat. And finally, a big thank you to our wonderful waiter Monir, whose attentive and kind service made every dinner even more enjoyable🙏🏻 This resort is a true slice of heaven and we’re already dreaming of coming back one day ❤️
