Southfork Lodge - Riverside Inn

The rooms face a babbling creek just yards away. Listening to the waters run was incredibly peaceful. Rooms are spacious, updated, and clean.

We booked for the night and couldn't stay. The people in the room next us were smoking in their rooms excessively so much that my children became nauseous and we had to drive home. The property manager refused to refund us even though it clearly states no smoking in their policy. I was also charged an extra fee for each of our dogs. Their restaurant was not open to purchase food, but only alcoholic beverages. I would not recommend staying here.

The property was beautiful but there was no staff there, no open restaurant or cafe- so be prepared to bring your own food- there is NOT much around without a drive. The room was very nice and clean and the beds were really comfy. Loved the view outside our door. Has a fridge and freezer and microwave and kcup coffee maker and there is a gas station/convenience store up at the corner that was really great to have. If there were staff and a restaurant there this would have been a home run.

The area was beautiful but the service poor- the restaurant and coffee shop are closed and there is no staff on site. The keypad entry doesn’t work well and we were locked out of our room multiple times; when I called for help it took two hours for hotel staff to call back. Another patron had to climb in through the window. A different patron there the same night as us had a chipmunk in his room in his bed and couldn’t get it out of the room. The place has a lot of potential but needs some work.

Beautiful area, river right by cabins. Cabins are very nice. Nice bar area, but not open but caretaker can get you what you want.

No one is here. Only One caretaker person who is wonderful and very friendly.

Very friendly owners, neat place and personality i did love the fresh and clean smell of the blankets, and the cabins are gorgeous, highly recommended 👌
