Decent hotel, fairly priced, great location!

Very close to bars and restaurants in Condesa. Front desk was available 24 hours, and they were very kind for the check-in and check-out. There are two things I wish were better: 1. there was a lot of noise (I understand we need to expect some noise because of the neighborhood, but there was no noise cancelling at all) and 2. there was some trash around the front desk, and there was an envelope that apparently was used by a previous guest, which suggests that the room was not properly cleaned before we arrived. The rest of the room, the bed, the restroom, the space to store the clothes, etc, everything else was good.

I had a booking for 6 nights, over my birthday. The room I was given was extremely cold so much so that I had to use duvet from other bed so two duvets and wear a jumper to bed. Also the water was stone cold. I told a staff member who told me to wear a jumper. I told her re duvets and she did not care. I asked for a new room as I had developed a cold and needed a hot shower. She said no I asked again and eventually yes but told to wait a whole day. I said no and eventually I got a room that night. Unsure why she initially said no and then suddenly room was available. I got no apology and after that the staff smirked at me every time I walked past. I have never encountered such poor customer service and on my birthday! Getting a cold also was not ideal. I lived the location but the staff were so unhelpful. Food I had as I was so sick one night had to have room service. I also got the incorrect order but just kept as was unsure if this was an error or on purpose.
