Miramelindo Spa Hotel

Location was great

Very nice with quirky decor. The restaurant is always busy and serves excellent food. The waterfalls are very close by and well worth a visit. Very enjoyable stay.

The owners were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and the food was really fresh and tasty. Wonderful art was everywhere! I loved the hammock in our room (and a fireplace was ther too but we didn't use it). The in-massage I received at their in-house spa was phenomenal. The place is outside of Banos, in a tiny village. It is an easy walk to the gorgeous Diablo waterfall and the village doesn't feel as touristy as Banos itself. There is a river running outside of the hotel, which was lovely to fall asleep to.

The spa in our room had a filter piece missing, so when we sat in it and turned it on, it sucked up my leg into the intake and gave me a big bruise (and a fright!)

The location is good, the staff very friendly.

The property was not able in time, and it has spiderwebs in the bathroom and room, no cable in tv and the internet was poor. The pool closed too late and people don’t let us to rest. We found dog poop in our room entrance😒
