Lokahi Lodge

We stayed upstairs. The room was huge. All the wood was beautiful. The stars at night were so bright - even through the big windows. There were flowering trees and colorful birds. The location is great - just outside the national park. There are many great places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a tropical paradise.

The Lokahi Lodge is at an excellent location and is a cute, well decorated, quiet lodge that was a great base to explore Hawaii Volcano National Park.

Quite a lot of messages for check-in and check-out, asked for credit information (incl. CVC) to be written down although room had already been paid, overall outdated interior

Really cute little place a stone's throw from the entrance, and just outside of Volcano Village (some great places to eat, a few cool shops). Easy, old-school villa style entry, Quiet. Loved the room (though the carpet needs a little work...). Loved the many small touches that made the room. Easy check-out. Would definitely use again. Only negative observation is that I would try to mask the structures behind the villa a tad more. Loved the resident pheasants!!!

I liked having a door to the outside rightin my room.
