The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). De douche, met maar 2 glazen schermen met daartussenin een flinke opening, het water vloog de douchecabine uit, m.a.g. een flink natte vloer.

Schoon hotel, rustig, en toch dicht bij het strand. Ontbijt was prima, maar niet overdreven. Het hotel heeft geen verdere voorzieningen, en is (zoals alle eilanden) relatief prijzig. We betaalden voor een standaard, kleine tweepersoonskamer inclusief ontbijt 160 euro voor een nacht. Dit was doordeweeks, buiten de vakanties.

Het hotel had, buiten het ontbijt, geen beschikbare horeca. Ook geen minibar op de kamer, of andere gelegenheid tot iets bestellen gezien.

Ontbijt was super en heel uitgebreid. Bagage kon gewoon in het hotel blijven staan.

Matras lag prima. Dekbed had iets langer gemogen, volgens Nederlandse afmetingen.
