Corran Bunkhouse

Alan is a super-friendly and helpful guy, but the beds aren’t comfy and the walls are paper-thin (other guests sound like they’re almost in your room). Definitely not worth the price or 4-star rating.

Fabulous place to stay. Very clean. Great amenities; 2 kitchen areas, 2 drying rooms, lovely lounge. Kitchens very well equipped. Tea, coffee making facilities

I could talk about this place for hours. This was such a great experience! First and foremost the staff/owners are the friendliest folks we had encountered during our trip to Scotland! Our reason for being in the area was to hike and explore and Alan and Halina helped us discover trails we were not aware based on our hiking abilities. The area is so beautiful and they keep the Bunkhouse so clean and beautiful. We were four in our party and we had four twin sized beds in our room. I could talk for ours on how special they made us feel during our stay and the great recommendations for breakfast and dinner choices that were spot on! If we go back to Scotland, we will definitely choose this place again and again.

Alan was so accommodating cannot thank him enough. The property was thorough and had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Very clean and updated and a beautiful view of the lock.

Lovely, clean, warm, great self catering kitchen... basic but budget friendly. Just what we needed after long days in the mountains.

The manager/owner was very friendly and walked us through the whole place and its facilities. Has ample space to cook food and relax and even do your laundry. Seems well suited for "backpacking through scotland" type trips and also longer stays. Also has a box of kids toys in the lounge which occupied my boy for a good while.

Super awesome place to stay. I wish we had more time. The owner was wonderful and the premises excellent. I highly recommend it and especially if you have a few nights to stay.
