Seaford Lodge Apartments

Yet another fantastic stay at Seaford Lodge. Like home from home. Clean bed sheets and towels provided. Full kitchen of utensils. Very comfortable. Will book for another holiday.

Lots of space. Easy to get to. Always able to park outside. Very Clean.

WiFi was weak/not available in the lounge, but probably due to the length of the building. Couldn't get the hot water to come through in the kitchen but showers were fine.

It was fine but a few things could of been better

It was small and a lot of stairs to climb,the shower could do with a really good clean and the kitchen plates etc we had to wash before we could use them

Apartment was lovely and clean, modern and spacious. Bed was really comfortable but I didn’t get to sleep in it as the kids both wanted to so I stayed on the sofa bed. Nice touch to have washing up liquid there already.

Couldn’t get in on arrival as hadn’t received the key safe number. I had two children with me one 8yo with special needs and it was very stressful keeping her happy for the 3+ hours it took to get in. Couldn’t get in contact with owner or booking.com. Very stressful as we were there for a family wedding and there was a meal the night of arrival at 6.30pm so we were late for it. Couldn’t get hot water to work in bathroom. My daughter doesn’t like strange showers. It gets quite hot in the apartment on the top floor so could’ve done with a fan, if I’d realised I would’ve taken one with me. Front door slams if you don’t hold it and this was really loud even from the top floor. I was considerate to other people staying but others let it slam all the time. Heard it slam just after 6am one morning and after 10pm at night.

Closeness to the sea

Having to purchase more towels as one hand towel and two bath towels were not enough for a weeks stay when there are no washing clothes facilities. Also towels were clean, but looked old. Very few pamphlets on the surrounding area in the place

Great location close to the beach and a quick walk to train station, great facilities. Bed was comfy and sofa bed was easy to put down. Great base for a few nights to enjoy the beach and travel round the local area. Decent hairdryer and iron and ironing board provided as well. The is an electric meter that takes £1's it did have credit already on it and we just topped it back up a few pounds to the starting amount when we left.

Could hear downstairs neighbours late at night and doors opening and closing.
