Seahorse Inn Manhattan Beach - LAX

Clean, nicely decorated. The staff is super nice and very helpful. Convenient to everything.

The Seahorse Inn is a reasonably priced hotel/motel, located just 15 mins walk through some nice neighbourhoods to Manhattan Beach, making it a good choice for those wishing to visit on a budget. The staff were helpful and polite, the room was pretty standard, functional, but needed a touch up here and there, and we enjoyed having somewhere where we could easily walk to Manhattan and Hermosa Beaches, which we loved, and enjoy the bars and restaurants in the area.

The place met our expectations, but we knew we were getting what we paid for. Being right above the office, there was a bit of road noise and beeping from morning traffic, the room was a bit tired with plug sockets hanging out of the walls, and the AC unit was helpful in warming up the room, but also quite loud to leave on overnight. Overall, it served our purposes.

Easy to find. Easy parking.

No complaints. Just one big hair in the tub I found when showering. A woman’s hair. But it was the ONLY thing off. Otherwise very clean room.

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, free parking. Front desk staff were able to accommodate our late-night arrival.

We usually stay in 3-star hotels, so this was a step down from what we’re used to, but that’s not the motel’s fault.
