The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped to solve the technical problem with our chalet and provided another one when we figured that the planned one for us was contaminated with mold

Multiple things. 1) the chalet that we booked had no hot water and heating( that was fixed promptly, kudos for that) 2) the chalet had a really strong smell of mold everywhere and most strongly in the bedroom. This was validated by the staff, as they sent a technician to check on it and based on it provided us with another similar type chalet. But I can't believe that cleaning personnel didn't notice this beforehand. Such accommodation just should not be offered. The replacement chalet had a different kind of smell, which was weaker, but the interior was much worse, had really worn out couches and much less decoration of the living room. 3) looking at the positive reviews of the place, I think they read coming from the newer units that are also offered at the park. So I would not advise booking the lowest tier accommodation in this park. 4) The price that is charged even for the lowest tier warrants much better quality, given that you can also get a hotel in a similar price range. There is also a hidden charge for the linen of 11 euro something per person, which for a family of 3-4 people plus the tax really puts the price for a short stay on a level of a decent hotel with all the towels, linen, soap and what not. 5) the additional payment for the linen has to be made before arrival, otherwise linen is not placed in your chalet and is brought later. However if you book via booking.com, the link to your payment is sent to you via messages in the booking.com app, which strips all the links from the message. Calling with the reception and the central office of europarcs didn't help to resolve it, they also refused to send the link to my email directly. So payment via booking.com is not optimized yet for these parks

Sauberkeit

Die Lage am Strand war super, die Aktivitäten für Kinder (u.a. Marshmallowgrillen am Strand, Halloween-Schnitzeljagd (auch wenn gar kein Halloween war) mit vorherigem Laternebasteln, Kinderschminken, Wassersportabend! Die Kinder wollten partout nicht mehr weg. Sehr fein war auch der Gaskamin, der ein schönes Ambiente in der Dunkelheit schuf und darüber sehr schnell den Wohnraum geheizt hat. Schwimmbad war auch gerne angenommen von insgesamt drei Kindern.

Die Umgebung

Wir haben eine Unterkunft mit Hunden gebucht und haben eine Unterkunft erhalten, die einen Eichenbaum direkt am Grundstück hatte, Eicheln sind hochgiftig für Hunde, noch dazu hat unsere Karte für die Schranke nicht funktioniert und keiner der Mitarbeiter war gewollt uns zu helfen, obwohl wir dringend weg mussten.

Die Unterkunft war super gelegen, mit ein paar Schritten war man am Strand. Der Mini markt hatte alles was man morgens braucht zum frühstücken. Das Restaurant ist sehr sehr gut. Vom Park in ein paar größere Städte kommt man in wenigen Minuten es war in allem einfach klasse auch für unseren Hund. Wir habe direkt für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht.
