Property is not good. Lots of broken items in room including desk chair missing headrest and light over sink very noisy. Bathroom dim with rusty tub, towels very thin and old/scratchy. Trains blowing whistles all night. They don’t use keycards anymore so they have two door handles on every door, but none of them match and not in a cute way.

We just needed a spot to stretch out and sleep for the night. The room was clean and the beds were moderately comfortable.

Breakfast was the best

Upon check in, staff forgot to give me the breakfast voucher. When I inquired, he gave it to me but forgor to ment I on the wifi password was on the back. When I tried to connect it only offered a pay service. Honest mistake I suppose. The room was small but clean and seemingly updated. Bed was comfortable and shower was okay. This hotel is part of a truck stop and the registration desk is in a different building from the rooms. Truck noise was not an issue but, the 10 trains that passed through the night blowing their whistles assured interrupted sleep. Additionally, there are no black out curtains. The dark blue curtains allow light to shine right through so expect that at sunrise. The restaurant staff was wonderful and allowed my dog to stay with me so that was appreciated. The free breakfast was strictly a traditional breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns and either bacon or sausage. No substitutions, even for a cheaper meal. NO DRINK is included with breakfast. And the final oddity was that there was an actual key. Apparently there is new management or something and sone renovations so the key cards aren't available yet. That's fine but, remember to lock the door when you leave as it doesn't happen automatically. Overall a decent place, although small, but in a horrible location. If you like counting train whistles to fall asleep, this is your place.
