Portree Independent Hostel

Good hostel. I would have preferred a private room, but I did book late and it was probably peak tourist season. So that's my own fault.

I requested a double room through Expedia and the hostel does not have one! This should not have been offered as an option if it did not exist.

Really enjoyed this hostel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Very cheerful decoration with bright colors everywhere. Overall, quite clean. Lockers are a bit small (i.e. can't fit a whole bag in there) but really only downside. The kitchen area is huge so makes for easy cooking even during peak eating times. The location really can't be beat...right downtown in Portree. Easy access to buses, pubs, shopping etc. Really enjoyed staying at this hostel and would definitely stay here again.

The staff were extraordinarily kind and helped me plan my stay in Skye. As a 22 year old female traveling alone, I felt safe and in good hands!

設施齊全，床架、用品比較舊，但不失清潔乾淨。此處世界各地人物都有，各人跟旅社規範自律，各得所需，很好的經驗。

Très bon séjour, l’hostel est très sympa et les environs de Portree sont magnifiques

personnel sympa avec conseils. la cuisine est spacieuse et bien équipée. douche bien chaude. très bien localisée

長距離バスのバス停から徒歩1分で着くホステル。ベッドや設備も平均的なホステルのそれで、全く問題ない。キッチン・食堂が広く、近くにCoopもあるため好きなものを調理できる他、ポートリー中心街に食べに行ける。ランドリーは一度外に出てから下に降りたところにあり、洗濯機4£・乾燥機1£。朝食などのサービスはなし。サイトの写真が古いため全体に汚く見えるが、実際は清潔に保たれている。

Hostel had comfy beds, lots of space in the room, a fully stocked kitchen, an affordable laundromat downstairs, and nice, spacious bathroom and shower facilities. My one complaint is that there was only one outlet in the whole room of 10 bunks. It had a power strip so there were plenty of spaces for all, but it meant only 2-4 people could actually be close to their charging electronics.

This was my first time in a hostel, so got a double room all to myself. The price was more than half the price of any hotel. I was surprised at how clean it was. The bed was comfy enough for me. I realized I should've brought my own towel, but that's on me. Great value, and it was definitely quite at night.
